
Half-Maltese and half-Australian, he frequently visits Malta and provides cover to the Principal Osteopath, bringing a wealth of experience to our patients at Osteopathy Malta.
Dean Wright has completed tertiary degrees in Osteopathy, Clinical Science and Physical Education. Prior to becoming an Osteopath, Dean worked in the health and fitness industry as a Health Coach, Personal Trainer, Group Fitness instructor, Pilates and University Educator.
Dean completed his Osteopathic degree in 2003 graduating with distinction and has been involved in both general practice and University education since.
Dean has continued his clinical education completing courses from the Barral Institute in Visceral manipulation, Biodynamics, Cranial Osteopathy, Dry Needling and Exercise Rehabilitation.
Dean has a passion for treating people of all ages and all musculoskeletal conditions with a keen focus on spinal function.
On sporting note, Dean competed in Sport Aerobics, representing Australia for 4 years and won a World Championship in the mixed pairs division in 1997. By the end of his career Dean had won 9 State Titles, 7 National Titles, 2 World Bronze medals, 1 World Silver Medal and a World Championship Gold Medal.

Fun fact: Dean’s schedule means he gets to enjoy two Summers a year: the Maltese Summer (July to September) and the Australian Summer (December to February).
