The Beginning
Our founder, Robert Grech, started his career as a physiotherapist in 2005. However, it was during his time in the UK that he first encountered the profound impact of osteopathy on patients. He was captivated by the unique philosophy of care, which emphasised a holistic approach and a higher reliance on manual therapy. This experience led Robert to pursue further studies, and in 2010, he qualified as an osteopath from the prestigious London School of Osteopathy.

Bringing Osteopathy to Malta
In 2012, Robert founded Osteopathy Malta, becoming the first registered osteopath in the country. Starting as a sole practitioner, he introduced the profession of osteopathy to the Maltese Islands. His passion for patient-centred care quickly resonated with the community, and word spread about the benefits of osteopathic treatment.
Expats familiar with osteopathy from countries like the UK, France, and Italy found comfort in knowing they could receive the same high standard of care in Malta. As demand grew, Robert expanded the practice, bringing in highly qualified osteopaths from around the world. In 2015, the clinic moved to its flagship premises in Ta’ Xbiex, where it continues to thrive today.
