Anne Söffken M.Ost. (UK)
Anne Söffken initially trained as a physiotherapist in Hamburg, Germany. Soon after, she was seeking a more holistic approach to patient care. She went to study osteopathy at the European School of Osteopathy in Kent, England.
The Masters Degree course entailed structural osteopathic techniques and orthopedic diagnosis as well as training in cranial osteopathy and visceral techniques.
The European School of Osteopathy is renowned for its high quality osteopathic education, in particular that involving the areas of osteopathic treatment of infants and children as well as that of pregnant women.
Anne has particular interest in the influence of fascial tensions and restrictions on a person’s posture, wellbeing and performance. Part of her diagnosis and treatment may incorporate myofascial techniques.
Being trained in a broad spectrum of techniques enables Anne to specifically tailor treatments to every patient’s precise needs.
In her free time, Anne enjoys dancing, yoga and slacklining.
She has 25 years of experience in horse riding and has a great interest in a variety of outdoor activities.
