Andrea Grancini - Massage Therapist
Andrea Grancini was born in Italy in 1974. His first career was in finance and administration in the private and NGO sector. He worked for more than 10 years in the development and private sector in Peru, Afghanistan, Zimbabwe, South Africa and Italy.
In 2013 he moved to Malta and decided to embark a career change in order to follow his passion and unique gifts: theatre and bodywork.
He studied Classic Swedish Massage, Lymphatic Drainage Massage and Reflexology in Malta and Myofascial/Deep Tissue Massage in Italy as well as Integral Movement and Performance Practice in Berlin with London International School of Performing Arts.
At OM Clinic Malta he offers deep tissue massage as a therapeutically effective treatment.
Further he teaches physical theatre with Opening Doors and Helen O’Grady Academy and offers his own theatre plays.
He is studying to improve his knowledge on the link of therapeutic massage, posture and movement in order to help people to release pain and ease movement.
Furthermore, he is attending training in Body Alignment, a modality in the energy medicine field. His aim is to include kinesiology, emotional release, and energetic body alignment in his massage practice to help release energetic blockages with an emotional charge and release pain at its root.
